Dr Danie Kotz

Dr Danie Kotze obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2002, before joining the Fellowship of the College of Physicians of South Africa in 2011. He then obtained his Certificate in Clinical Haematology from the College of Medicine of South Africa in May 2014 and opened the doors of his Independent Practice in July 2014. Dr Kotze’s main interests are the diagnosis and treatment of patients with haematological malignancies (including acute and chronic leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, lymphomas, myeloma and myeloproliferative disorders) and the investigation and management of anaemias, red cell disorders, coagulation and thrombotic problems and blood transfusion. Dr Kotze prides himself on paying close attention to all of his patients, as well as always being available when his patients and their family requires his help. He understands that many of his patients have been forced to endure the most difficult trial of their lives, and is therefore honoured to guide them on their path to better health. He is also delighted to be sharing his Constantiaberg Medi-clinic based practice with health professionals who share his philosophy of putting the patient first.
