How we create content
Editorial Policy
Getadoc’s health articles and condition pages are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed before publication. New articles are checked by our editorial team and, where they concern medical guidance, reviewed by a registered healthcare practitioner. When an article has been reviewed by a named practitioner, that practitioner is named on the page and linked to their profile, along with the date of review.
Older articles carried over from our previous site were written and clinically reviewed by our own medical team within the last six months. These carry an editorial review byline that links to our medical review board rather than to an individual profile. Where an article carries no review at all, we show no byline and no review date — we never imply a review that did not happen.
Articles list their sources in a References section. Articles carried over from our previous site carry the reference lists they were published with; we are working through these to re-verify each source and bring them into the same structured format we use for new articles. Content is reviewed and updated periodically, and where a review date exists it is shown on the page.
