Getadoc’s medical content is reviewed by registered South African healthcare practitioners. Every article that has been reviewed shows who reviewed it and when.

Where the reviewer is a practitioner listed in our directory, the byline names them and links to their profile. Where an article was reviewed by our in-house editorial team — which includes the health library carried over from our previous site — the byline links to this page instead, so we never assert a named practitioner at a profile that does not exist.

Where an article carries no review, we show no reviewer and no review date. We do not imply a review that did not happen.
