Dr Fawzia Moola is a Psychiatrist in Gardens, Cape Town. She qualified in Dublin, Ireland and then returned to South Africa to complete her fellowship at M.C. Zulu Hospital in Durban. Dr Fawzia Moola then worked as a psychiatrist in New Zealand before returning to South Africa to open her own practice, which ran successfully in Pietermaritzburg till she relocated to Cape Town. She had worked at both Valkenberg and Lentegeur Psychiatric Hospitals and practiced privately in Cape Town when she was diagnosed with Cancer of the Uterus and, though it was treated surgically, began exploring alternative healing processes and the mind-body connection. Dr Fawzia Moola now practices at The Ubuntu Wellness Centre in Gardens, Cape Town. Her Holistic Therapy goal is to reduce suffering and help people to restore full physical and emotional health.
