Dr Limakatso Lebina

Dr Limakatso Lebina is a Project Director at ZuziMpilo Medical Centre in Johannesburg. She studied and obtained her medical degree at the University of Cape Town. She also holds a diploma in HIV Management. She worked at public hospitals across Cape Town, with both old and young, and gained extensive experience in the medical field. Working with HIV patients sparked her passion for HIV Management, treatment and research. She currently works as the Project Head of several programmes under the Perinatal HIV Research Unit. This includes medical male circumcision programs and research into HIV and TB prevention and treatment. She believes that primary health care and disease prevention is essential while trying to create awareness and a healthy nation.
