Dr Sifiso Bulunga

Dr Sifiso Bulunga is a General Practitioner with more than 20 years experience in General Practice. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the Medical University of Southern Africa (MEDUNSA) in 2001. He then did Internship at Piet Retief Hospital and Community Service at Ekurhuleni Health District. He has done post-graduate studies in Occupational Health and Medicine at the Universities of Pretoria and Stellenbosch. He did his Travel Medicine, including Yellow Fever Vaccination, at the University of the Witwatersrand and James Cook University. He is also a Certified Independent Medicals Examiner, competent in doing Medico-legal Assessments as required by the Road Accident Fund, Insurance and Disability companies. He has gained invaluable experience working for companies such as the Sun International Resorts, SAPPI, ILLOVO Sugar, Anglogold Ashanti and most recently, the City of Joburg Municipality. He has a passion for family medicine, especially the management of non-communicable diseases such as Hypertension, Epilepsy and Diabetes, as well as HIV/AIDS Management.
