Dr Thabo Bisiwe is a paediatrician in Bloemfontein. After graduating with a BSc from the University of Cape Town, Dr Bisiwe went on to complete his MBChB at Walter Sisulu University - graduating in 2003. His passion for paediatrics developed during his internship at the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital. Children would come to the hospital very ill, and the parents would be frustrated and helpless. Within a few days of treatment, the child’s condition would improve, and the child will be smiling and playing.
